Bruce Solie's 1968 CIA Report: Was KGB Defector Yuri Nosenko Genuine?

Nosenko was a KGB officer who defected to the CIA in 1964, claiming among other things that the KGB never controlled or took serious interest in Lee Harvey Oswald during his time in the Soviet Union; his bona fides were bitterly disputed inside the CIA for years.

CIA security researcher Bruce Solie concluded definitively that Nosenko was the person he claimed to be, that he had genuinely served in the KGB as claimed, and that he was not dispatched by the KGB as a deception operation.
